AMBER XTREME™ (WOODY AMBERY)

Amber Xtreme is an IFF fragrance molecule with a pronounced woody-amber character. It points towards a forceful woody effect rather than the soft vanilla sweetness of a traditional amber accord. Its character can give a composition a more assertive outline.

The material is manufactured, not extracted from fossilised amber. IFF describes impact across the opening, heart and base, so it should not be understood only as a base note. How strongly it stands out depends on the formula and amount used. A note listing cannot tell you the concentration or predict how long a finished perfume will last on your skin.
