AMBROCENIDE (WOODY AMBERY)

Ambrocenide is a Symrise fragrance molecule with a powerful woody-amber character. It can give woods and amber effects a more pronounced, radiant presence. The word radiant here describes a scent that seems to spread through the composition, rather than a visual quality.

Symrise documents uses from the opening through the base, including effects on citrus and musky notes at low levels. It is therefore misleading to confine it to a heavy base-note role. It is not an extract of amber resin. A perfume’s overall strength and persistence still depend on the complete formula, rather than the presence of this name in a note list.
