AROMALIDE™

Aromalide™ is a named musk material from CPL Aromas. In an interview about its materials, the company describes a fruity floral character with pear and ambrette facets. Those references suggest a musk with a soft fruit nuance and warmth, rather than a purely freshly washed impression.

The trade name identifies a particular perfumery material, so it is retained across languages. Its description does not mean that pear juice or ambrette extract is necessarily present in a perfume containing the note. Nor does the name alone establish the complete formula or manufacturing process. When exploring a fragrance, consider whether its surrounding fruit, flowers or woods bring the musky softness forward.
