BLACK CHERRY
Black cherry in perfume suggests rich, ripe fruit with a sweet-tart character. Some interpretations feel juicy; others move towards syrup or cherry liqueur. A kernel-like almond accent may appear alongside it, but that is a compositional choice rather than a rule for every black-cherry note.
The name is best read as a fruit-inspired accord unless a maker specifies a material. It does not establish a particular tree species, extraction or real liqueur in the formula. For discovery, look at the balance: flowers can frame the fruit differently from warm woods or dessert-like notes. A fresher cherry impression and a dense, syrupy one can share the label while offering quite different experiences.
