BLUEBELL
Bluebell in perfume evokes dewy flowers in a woodland setting. Its appeal is the impression of fresh petals and open space rather than a dense, heavy bouquet. A perfumer can build that picture with other floral notes, allowing bluebell to suggest a whole flowering scene as well as an individual blossom.
Different interpretations surround the idea in different ways: soft fruit can bring sweetness, while citrus and a touch of spice can give the floral picture more contrast. These are surrounding notes, not a standard recipe for bluebell. The name does not prove that an essential oil from the flower is present. For fragrance discovery, it is a useful direction if you enjoy fresh, airy floral compositions with a woodland association.
