CAFFEINE

Caffeine itself is odourless: it does not provide the smell of coffee. In fragrance language, its name can be an inspiration for a composition rather than a description of the pure molecule. A caffeine-themed fragrance may build a coffee-like setting with caramel sweetness, spices, herbal accents or woods. These smells belong to the fragrance composition, not to caffeine.

The name alone does not define a fixed accord or prove that caffeine is an ingredient. Look at the accompanying notes to understand the intended character: coffee and caramel suggest a gourmand direction, while herbs and spices can introduce aromatic contrasts. This makes the surrounding fragrance description more informative than treating caffeine as a distinct coffee-smelling material.
