COCOWAX

Cocowax is a named fragrance accord associated with the creamy character of Goldfield & Banks’ Pacific Rock Flower. It brings a coconut-related idea into an aquatic floral setting, where creaminess sits beside salty air, flowers and woods. The useful reference is a smooth olfactory texture rather than the smell of a burning candle or a claim that the perfume contains wax.

In an interview, founder Dimitri Weber credits perfumer Emilie Bouge with creating the Cocowax accord and refers to coconut, tonka bean and coumarin in his account of its construction. He specifically links the accord to the perfume’s creaminess. This identifies a composed scent effect, not hydrogenated coconut oil or a standard candle-making wax. The name does not disclose a complete formula, and its role depends on the composition around it.
