COFFEE (ARABICA)

Arabica coffee in perfume points to the roasted seeds of Coffea arabica. The scent can combine freshly ground coffee with chocolate-like, nutty or woody nuances. These softer surrounding facets can give the roast a rounded character, but Arabica does not guarantee a mild, sweet or lightly roasted fragrance. It names a coffee species, not a particular brewing method or a fixed scent profile.

Natural perfumery extracts made from Arabica beans are documented: Robertet’s CO₂ extract uses roasted beans and suggests coffee before brewing, while the Arabica extract sold by Fraterworks includes chocolate and woody-nutty facets in its description. These are material-specific examples, not properties shared equally by every Arabica coffee. The species has African origins and is now cultivated more widely. In a note list, Arabica may describe the intended coffee impression without proving that a particular natural extract is present.
