CONDENSED MILK

The familiar food inspiration is sweetened condensed milk: milk with some water removed and sugar added. Evaporated milk is a related unsweetened product, so the names are not interchangeable when describing the food. In perfume, condensed milk is a scent interpretation, not proof of dairy or sugar in the formula. The name does not identify a particular lactone, vanilla material or extraction process, and caramel-like facets depend on the composition.
