Kholas dates offer a specific fruit reference for a sweet perfume theme. Bateel describes the Kholas fruit as toffee-flavoured, which makes soft caramel sweetness a useful culinary association for understanding the inspiration. That flavour description is not a formula for the fragrance or a claim that every interpretation smells identical.

The name also has a documented perfumery connection: CPL Aromas produces Kholas Dates AromaSpace™, and perfumer Kevin Mathys describes using this base to sweeten a fragrance draft. The broader Kholas note does not automatically identify that supplier’s material. In a composition, the date theme can suggest fruit woven into a caramel-like softness; drier or spicier notes can change the balance. Look for the surrounding notes to judge how much the perfume leans toward dessert.
