GREEN TEA
Green tea in perfume evokes the fresh, vegetal character of tea leaves, with grassy nuances and an aromatic clarity. In a composition it can suggest a crisp leaf impression rather than a sweetened drink. Citrus or floral notes around it can make the tea seem brighter or softer, but those effects depend on the whole fragrance. The name alone does not promise a particular tea variety or the smell of one brewing method.
Bvlgari describes its green-tea interpretation through young leaves and grassy freshness, paired with bergamot and a neroli-petal accord. The house also documents a natural tea extract in its updated Eau Parfumée Thé Vert formula. This is one way of shaping the note, not a recipe for every green-tea perfume. An accord and a natural extract can contribute different facets; a note listing by itself does not establish which materials were used.
