LEMON (CALABRIA)

Calabrian lemon brings the idea of freshly grated peel and juicy citrus to perfume, with a little sweetness and a possible green edge. The character remains recognisably lemon; Calabria identifies a region of southern Italy, rather than a separate botanical species or one guaranteed scent profile.

Natural lemon oil is commonly obtained by cold pressing the peel of Citrus limon, and suppliers may further process particular grades. The variety of fruit, the material selected and the surrounding perfume all influence the result.
