LILYBELLE®

Lilybelle® is a Symrise aroma material with a fresh floral character centred on lily of the valley, accompanied by green and cyclamen-like facets. It can introduce an airy, watery impression, as though space has opened between the flowers. Its aldehydic side gives the freshness a sharper green edge and can bring contrast to softer, powdery notes. The effect depends on the surrounding accord and how much is used.

This is a manufactured fragrance molecule, not an extract of lily-of-the-valley flowers. Symrise describes production using byproducts from the orange-juice industry; that starting point does not make the finished material an orange oil or a citrus note. Lilybelle® can form part of a muguet reconstruction or add green floral detail elsewhere. The name identifies a particular material, while a finished perfume’s character comes from its whole composition.
