LUNAR FLOWER

Lunar Flower is a poetic floral accord inspired by a night-blooming flower. One documented interpretation has a sweet, powdery character reminiscent of vanilla, bringing a soft floral impression into a gourmand composition. For THOO, Andrea Casotti identified the inspiration as Epiphyllum oxypetalum, known as Queen of the Night, and described an accord combining synthetic materials with some natural oils. The house places the flower beside milk cream and vanilla-like notes. This is a particular creative interpretation, not a universal botanical definition of every moonflower note or evidence that a perfume contains an extract of the bloom.
