MINT (MOROCCO)
Moroccan mint is often associated with Nana or Nanah mint, a form of spearmint. Its scent is green and herbal, with a rounded sweetness reminiscent of mint chewing gum. Compared with the sharper, icy impression of peppermint, a Nana mint material can feel softer, with a slight fruity nuance. It can suggest fresh leaves without making the whole perfume smell like a sweet confection.
Natural Moroccan Nana mint oil is available for perfumery. Suppliers describe steam distillation, with leaves specified as the starting material by Helpac. This gives one documented source for the note, not proof of the ingredient in every listed perfume. The country label alone does not specify a cultivar, supplier or grade; the chosen material and the surrounding notes shape the final balance of green freshness and sweetness.
