MUSKY WOODY NOTES
Musky woody notes bring together the rounded presence of musk and the drier texture of wood. The effect can suggest smooth wood wrapped in soft fabric, with powdery or lightly fruity nuances depending on the materials. A composition may emphasise either the soft musky body or the more defined woody outline.
This label describes a scent direction rather than a fixed recipe. Some musk materials already have a woody facet; perfumers can also build the effect by combining different materials. The words do not specify cedar, sandalwood or any particular musk molecule.
