NETTLE
Nettle is a green, herbal note suggesting grass, leaves and sap-filled stems, sometimes with an earthy edge. Its freshness feels vegetal rather than sugary or floral. In perfume it can give a citrus composition more leafy substance, or set a green contrast against rounded fruit and flowers.
The reference is the stinging nettle, Urtica dioica. Miller Harris describes its nettle interpretation in Wander through the Parks as grassy and aromatic, paired there with fig, galbanum and citrus. Those companions belong to that composition, not to a universal nettle recipe. A note listing does not establish whether an extract was used. For discovery, nettle points towards the smell of growing greenery rather than a sweet bouquet.
