OZONIC NOTES
Ozonic notes suggest cool, open air: a clean breeze with green, floral or watery facets. The effect may recall a windswept coast, but it need not smell salty or strongly marine. In perfume, ozonic describes an olfactory character created with fragrance materials; it is not a claim that ozone gas has been bottled.
Different materials bring different shades of this freshness. IFF describes Floralozone as green and reminiscent of ocean air, while Helional combines an ozonic impression with cyclamen-like flowers and newly cut hay. These are examples, not a required formula. An ozonic accent can make a floral composition feel more open or introduce a cool edge among warmer notes. Its prominence and duration depend on the complete perfume.
