Pomegranate in perfume evokes a juicy red-fruit impression, balancing sweetness with a fresh edge. The effect can feel succulent without turning into a heavy dessert note. It is useful to think of the fruit as an olfactory reference: Jo Malone London explicitly describes its pomegranate note as an accord of red fruits that recalls pomegranate, rather than as a specified fruit extract.

The surrounding composition can take that idea in different directions. Versace Bright Crystal sets pomegranate beside yuzu and an iced accord, followed by peony, magnolia and lotus.
