ROSE (MOROCCO)

Moroccan rose can combine a full floral impression with a tea-like freshness, green nuances and a lightly peppery edge. That mix offers more than the idea of a uniformly sweet rose. Some extracts are described as especially rich, while others foreground the greener side; the material and the finished blend both matter.

One documented example is Moroccan Rosa damascena absolute, produced by solvent extraction of the flowers. Fraterworks describes its offering with tea-like and herbal-green facets, while Providence Perfume Co. emphasizes the richness of its own material. These descriptions should not become a fixed rule for everything called Moroccan rose. A perfume note does not verify a particular extract or recipe. Look at how the fragrance presents the flower: green, airy accents may appeal differently from a fuller rose impression.
