ROSE TEA
Rose tea in perfume evokes the idea of a floral infusion, with rose at its centre. It need not resemble the dry bitterness of black tea: a rosebud interpretation may lean towards soft floral sweetness, with fruit or greener notes shaping the impression. The name alone does not specify a particular tea blend or a rose variety.
Chasing Scents’ Weeping Rose, for example, places rosebud tea beside apple and juniper, with fig leaf and warmer supporting notes. The house also documents its own flower-bud extraction process. That is one approach, not a requirement for every rose-tea perfume. Read the complete scent description to see whether the result emphasizes the flower, fresh surroundings or sweet warmth.
