Salty skin accord evokes the meeting of warm skin and sea air. It can feel softly musky, with a saline edge that interrupts the smoothness rather than dominating it. An accord is a combination of fragrance materials designed to create an impression. There is no standard salty-skin formula: a perfumer has described building one around ylang-ylang, salicylates and Cashmeran, showing how flowers and warm materials can contribute alongside the salty idea. That example is not an ingredient list for every fragrance bearing the note. Look for the balance between bodily warmth and freshness; a skin-like character does not by itself guarantee quiet projection or a particular wearing time.
