TABACCHIERA PEACH

Tabacchiera peach in perfume takes its reference from the fragrant flat peach known in Italy as pesca tabacchiera. The useful sensory image is soft white flesh, juicy sweetness and the full aroma of a ripe peach. It points towards a rounded fruit impression rather than establishing a tobacco note from the sound of its name.

Sicilian grower 3moretti describes its Tabacchiera peaches as flattened fruits with tender white flesh and an intense fragrance. Those characteristics help explain the inspiration, but they do not establish a separate, standardised perfumery ingredient. A Tabacchiera peach note may interpret the fruit’s softness and ripeness within a floral or fruity composition. It does not prove the use of Sicilian peach extract, and the name alone cannot justify a fixed recipe of almond, musks or particular aroma molecules.
