Vinyl in perfume suggests a deliberately plastic-like, glossy impression. It can evoke the surface of a record or shiny clothing, giving a fragrance a manufactured-material character rather than a botanical one. That effect may feel smooth and warm as well as sharp; metallic harshness is not a requirement.

This is an olfactory accord, not a claim that vinyl plastic is an ingredient.
