Whiskey in perfume is a spirit-inspired accord: a combination of scents that can suggest warm grain, seasoned wood and a rounded, lightly sweet richness. Some interpretations lean towards vanilla and oak; others bring out drier wood, spice or a smoky edge. Smoke is an option, rather than a defining feature of every whiskey note.
