WHITE CHOCOLATE
White chocolate in perfume suggests the smooth, milky sweetness of a pale chocolate confection. Its appeal is as much about texture as flavour: a buttery, rounded impression, often with a vanilla-like softness, rather than the dry roasted darkness associated with cocoa-rich chocolate. A perfumer may make the effect feel like a thin creamy layer or build it into a fuller confectionery accord.
The name describes an edible-smelling idea, not proof that chocolate, milk or cocoa butter is present in the formula. Nutty praline, caramel or vanilla notes can extend its dessert character, while surrounding fruit may bring a brighter contrast. These are possible directions, not a standard ingredient list. White chocolate can soften the impression of a composition, but the note alone does not tell you how sweet, powerful or persistent the finished fragrance will be.
