Description
Ursa was born on the shores of Lake Como, where alpine waters plunge into unfathomable depths beneath towering, forested mountains. This landscape—at once serene and dramatic—left a lasting imprint: rugged rocks, quiet coves, noble villas, and the shifting reflections of sky and stone. The Lecco branch, wild and evocative, became a beloved refuge, especially near the Fiumelatte spring once described by Leonardo da Vinci. Its intermittent waters, flowing from a shadowed cave perfumed by mineral rock and damp earth, felt like nature’s own alchemical laboratory—mysterious, powerful, and quietly intoxicating.
The fragrance opens with a warm surge of nutmeg and elemi, enriched by dried fruits steeped in rum—dark, spiced, and inviting. At its heart, patchouli and vetiver entwine with frankincense, incense, and tobacco, evoking sacred smoke rising within stone walls. The base unfolds in a sensual accord of vanilla and leather, deepened by precious oud buaya and agarwood, leaving a velvety, enveloping trail. Ursa balances alpine freshness with shadowy resins and woods, capturing both the clarity of mountain air and the magnetic darkness of hidden caverns.
