Camille Chemdardin

CAMILLE CHEMDARDIN

Camille Chemardin is a French perfumer and junior nose at the independent Paris creative studio FLAIR, known for blending classic olfactory knowledge with a modern, expressive voice. Born on April 12, 1997, in Lyon, she became enchanted by fragrance as a child—stealing L’Eau des Merveilles from her mother’s vanity and exploring her grandfather’s Habit Rouge—before a formative visit to the Fragonard perfume museum in Grasse confirmed her vocation at age ten. She pursued formal training at the prestigious École Supérieure du Parfum in Paris, where a rigorous curriculum in chemistry, culture, and perfume creation prepared her for a career in scent. During internships with major fragrance houses she met the founders of Flair, where she has since flourished as a creative perfumer.

Chemardin’s approach to perfumery is both emotional and experimental, rooted in memory and narrative. At Flair, she has helped shape a range of niche, expressive creations, including cult fragrances for Versatile Paris such as Dimanche Flemme, Accrodisiaque and Rital Date, where vibrant freshness, sensual warmth, and playful character coexist. Her style often marries sensual floral elements like tuberose with sparkling, fresh accents like ginger and juniper, reflecting a balance of intuition and technical skill that distinguishes her work in contemporary niche fragrance.
